Learn the traditional principles of perspectiveThis course teaches students how to create the illusion of depth and form by using linear perspective. Students will learn how to manipulate and transfer scale, measure in perspective, cast shadows, create accurate slopes and accurately depict 3-dimensional objects in space. Translating a rough sketch into perspective is emphasized. Students will learn to work in one, two and three-point perspective using traditional drawing materials. The information learned will be used to illustrate complex images, such as vehicles, architecture and environments from various points of view. Students are expected to cover the cost of supplies estimated at $50 to $80.
