Anatomy for Artists

In this course, students learn the foundations of anatomy by exploring the structure of the human body. Students learn elements of the musculoskeletal system, joint articulation, and dynamic form through lecture, demonstration, and in-class drawing. The study of anatomy will be related to both a history of illustrating the human figure and contemporary developments in the technological execution of the figure.
