Intro to 3D Game Creation

Want to learn how professional game designers develop a game from concept to completion? This course is designed to give students a look at the game making process used in such popular games as Mass Effect, Assassins’ Creed: Origins, and Call of Duty: WWII.

Students will use the Unreal 4 game engine to explore level creation. They will be introduced to the basics of the game development pipeline and an introduction to working in a game engine.

By the end of the course, students should understand the basics of navigating a game engine and will have created their own game level in UE4.

Note to Parents: Gnomon’s Digital Arts Summer Camp may not be ideal for students who are unprepared for dedicated study in a college environment. If you or your child have questions on the most appropriate path forward, please contact admissions@gnomon.edu for advisement.
